Scouse brows, pencil-ed in brows, no brows. It's well known that your brows could make or break your look. So put down those tweezers and listen up girls! Today I'll be serving up some of my top tips on how you could be one step closer to fabulous arches. Here's a round up of products I use to keep my brows in check.
Pluck: It goes without saying that tweezers are an essential beauty tool. These JAPONESQUE Artisan Slant Tip tweezers* do an amazing job at removing the odd hair here and there quickly, effectively and as pain-free as possible. No pain, no gain. I've never been a victim of over plucking as I stayed well away from tweezers during my early teens. Thankfully, my eyebrows are on the fuller side with a slight arch so I can skip tweezing. I know, I know. You brow doctors must be shaking your fists in disgust. But fear not, my brows are quite well behaved and neat (on the most part) so tweezing isn't a must for me at least!
Groom: I always, always give my brows a quick comb through with a spoolie. This is just to make sure they are nice and tidy before moving onto the next step.
Sculpt: Smaller than the palm of your hand and slim enough to slide into your makeup bag, the JAPONESQUE Brow Kit* is a nify little palette. This, coupled with an angled brush, is a dream. Depending on whether I feel like going all out (think Cara Delevigne) or if I want to go fairly natural, I'll either mix the brow powder with the wax to create an eyebrow gel (revolutionary eh?) or, I'll use the powder on it's own. When I am feeling a lil' bit daring-which isn't very often-I start by tracing the shape of my eyebrows with the powder-wax combo and then finish off by filling them in with powder as normal.
Set: Finish off with a few swipes of JAPONESQUE Eyebrow Gel*and voila! Perfect brows guaranteed to last even a sweaty night on the tiles.
It goes without saying that I have other products in rotation. What can I say? It's a makeup junkie thing...
